Tips
1. Schedule organizing time like you would with a lunch date, doctor, dentist, etc. For example, two hours a week to do just that. No phone calls unless it is urgent. Better to progress slowly. Have some music in the background.
2. Clear visible surfaces first. Don't open cupboards or drawers to start.
3. Break down the task, work one room in one area at a time. Each step accomplished will give you a feeling of completion.
